OK heres the deal. My AC quit blowing cold air. I bought recharge kit from wolly world. charged the unit. It blowed cold air for abvout 2 days and quit. Bought another kit and was going to charge it again and my compressor is not working at all now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

It sounds like you have a leak that needs to be repaired. If the system is low on refrigerant, the compressor clutch will not engage, (built in safety feature). If the system has been empty for more than an hour or so, the accumulator/drier will absorb humidity, become saturated, and must also be replaced. Every time A/C is serviced, it MUST be evacuated to 29.9 inches for a minimum of one hour to remove any remaining refrigerant and moisture before recharging. The amount of refrigerant in the system is critical to its proper operation. Failure to evacuate the system before charging makes it impossible to charge the system with the correct amount of refrigerant. An over charged system can build pressures in excess of 400psi and can cause permanent damage to A/C components including the compressor, condenser, evaporator, accumulator/drier and lines, not to mention the safety factor involved when one of these components decides to let go. I am not trying to scare you with all of this, just trying to help you do the job safely and correctly.

Thanks for the info. I guess what I should have done is took it to a pro to let them fix it in the first place. I guess this is what I get for trying to save some money. Figures....
