Air Bag Light

2001 Sebring Conv. 2.7 engine.
The Airbag light goes on with ignition switch as designed. But sometimes it doesn't go out after starting the engine. This just started happening.
Only work that was done on the car lately was the replacement of the blower motor resister.
Any ideas/solutions/recommendations?

Mine did the same thing and you would'nt believe what it was.....
They replaced the passenger side seatbelt closest to the console.

Just moving my passenger seat forward and then back turns off the light. This works every time. Only have the problem sporaticly. I'll replace the belt when this fix stops working

Thanks for the tip. The air bag light has been on for 2 weeks and I just made an appt with the dealer. I tried the passenger seat trick and the light went off!!
