Golf MK3 Wipers

Hi All, I think this is a vein attempt at not spending more money on my aging Golf GTi but its worth a try...

My wipers are playing silly beggars at the moment, both front and back seem to have a mind of thier own and just start and stop whenever they feel like it. I think the swith is basicly knackered but I wondered if there was a quick fix for this, other than my current solution (rip the fuses out!!)

1st of all, take the rear wiper out (coz its gay) and fill the hole with a gromit. dont 4get 2 plug the washer hose aswell! theres 1 out of 3! all u gotta worry bout now is the front! now u cant take those off but u probably have a bad connection sumwhere and the switch is activating itself by earthing or whatever! anyway hav fun sortin it!

the motor can short out causing intermittent functioning.

Check the relays also check the ground wires in the trunk area on the left and right side, water commonly gets in from the taillight seals and trunk seals
