me and some friends thought we'd pull a prank this year.....we were going to do it in senior year but we're too anxious so we thought we can do it this year.........we want to pull a prank every year and do the biggest on senior year. The problem is that we have only 4 weeks to plan this out and we don't have shit, we want something legal (school board doesn't have to like it) that doesn't involve animals and it has to be original.....we were gonna brainstorm this but all 5 of us don't have enough brainpower so i thought i'll ask the COT gang. Any suggestions?

The kids at my old school took all of the lisence plates or the cars in the parking lot and put them in a huge pile. I have no idea how they had enough time to do it. but they got in huge trouble lol.

I don't know man. When you said "legal" I lost all my ideas.

I will tell you though that for my senior prank we egged and water ballooned the hell out of the junior float.

Does you school keep any animals?

Label them 1, 2 and 4 one night and let them go free through the school grounds.

The next day, the school authorities will find 1, 2 and 4 quite easily - and spend hours searching for number 3.

Or if you have cows and a multi level structure, walk the cows upstairs. They can't get down by themselves and will have to be lifted out by crane. :D

school doesn't keep any animals and we won't wanna involve any small animals in case someone hurts them cos if we get caught we're gonna get charged for it and there's a farm full of cows down the road from my school but the freakin building is only one floor

One year the seniors at my school disassembled a VW Bug outside, and reasembled it in the office.

And one year the seniors put the school up for sale in the news paper as a large home, and listed the main office line in the ad.

And my junior year the seniors took out a good number of the desks and chair and scattered them throughout the parking lot, soccer and football fields and duct taped into trees, walls, etc

Not a senior prank, but one time we went through and put zip ties on all the lockers.

And I remember hearing a story about a class that spray painted black over all the yellow parking lines in the lot. Not really that effective, but funny.

meh we just let thousands of crickets go in the school... took 'em months to get rid of the chirping noise. Not that original but whatever, it was entertaining at the time.

A few years ago at my school everyone was gathered in the main auditorium on the last day, and a few people let loose about a dozen mice. All the girls panicked. I thought it was funny.

pig thing is way overdone and quite boring. planted some trees on the football field once and then scattered seeds. Not sure if the seeds did anything cause i left but it was quite funny for the teams to practice the next day.

License plate thing is funny as hell. Taking our desks and stuff work. Did that as well.

Did the cricket thing in college. Let them loose in a dorm building. Good stories went around. While the numbering thing sucks, grease up a few pigs and let them go. That's fun to watch! Multiple smoke bombs is fun in one area. I tied up a fuse to like, 20 i think and threw it in the hallway. Good fun when you have a school that's 2400+ and it's small as most elm schools.

Hm...being legal is hard. Are we being legal by just the law or school policy as well? I guess they almost run hand and hand. Now, not a car, but our police guy rides this stupid bike everywhere and he wears these nasty short shorts. Well, we took apart his bike and placed it all over the school locked to something.

Always doing some random prank, but never had an actual major senior prank. I guess the little ones were enough.

In the early 90s according to one of my teachers, a group of kids took apart the principal's car and put it back together in the gym.

For our senior prank (my idea, btw..w00t) we got a copy of the key to the marquee in front of the school. We're on a really busy road and everybody sees it on the way into school. Anyways, we got that and a bunch of letters and changed it to say "School Closed Today." They managed to get that covered up about 20 minutes before school. Quite amusing, but then again that's my biased opinion.

We've put reeeally heavy fart bombs in the vent shafts afew times. They actually evacuate the school then.

I am not sure if this really happened or not, this is what I've heard::
a few years back, even before i went to high school (ok, close to a decade ago) the seniors took apart a old VW bug, took it into the gymnasium re-assembeled to, had had it hanging from the rafters. I cannot say for sure that this happened since i didn't see it, but it sounds like a cool thing to do.

My senior year I got about 12,000 crickets from the people that supplied the pet store I worked at and we let those loose. It took about 20 people to pull it off though.

In my junior year the seniors welded most of the doors to the school shut and welded the locks as well. They forgot ONE door so we still had to go to school.

put super glue on doors. but you gotta do it while at school and soon before a teacher is about to do something. or on chairs. WHATEVER! USE SUPER GLUE!!!

i have a 67 vw bug gutted in my back yard right now

its not a school prank but a few years ago a bunch of people got together and hung a vw bug from the memphis brige

ive got a picture somewere but as for takeing a bug apart i think its like 16 or 18 bolts and the body comes right off. all you need is a frame body and 4 wheels it doesnt weigh much.thebody is like 250 the frame 150 plus old transmission and front beam another 150.so i would think of something to do with a bug

ive always thought putting one on top of a roof or povilian would be funny

a teacher in my old school told us that one year the guys leaving came in one night and did a full set of road marking, in that paint they use, on the play ground. but you can't remove it so they had to pay something like $30,000 to have all the tarmac resurfaced.

also, a guy who was leaving took all the benches from the dining hall and stacked them up on one of the fields, i think i still have a pick, i'll find it.

Our senior prank was going to be to tape each doorway over with newspaper (our doors were "indented" from the main hallway b/c of the depth of the lockers) and fill each of the newly-closed-off doors with tons of balloons. That way they'd have to tear through the newspapers and THEN they'd have to deal with the halls all filled with balloons.

My school had a small courtyard outside the library (until it got renovated into what looks like a birthing center) and the "timeless" story of a VW being lifted up the outside and back down into the courtyard is a tale I've heard of many times. They've also done the cow up the stairs, the pigs # 1, 2, 4 and bubbles in the pool (which seemed harmless, but they had to pay to get the whole thing pumped).

As for things that didn't quite go as planned... the class before me did the crickets, but they didn't get enough or something b/c I only saw one... most of them got stepped on b/c our floors were a dark brown mottled color. They hardly made any noise except when they jumped into a locker and you'd hear a lil "ping". Also, the class 2 years ahead of me stole an Elby's Big Boy (not a sign... the actual BOY) and tried to lower it into the courtyard I mentioned above... however, when they lowered it down, the ropes slipped and the hand holding the burger went through a window. They got in some BIG trouble.

walk a cow up the stairs. they can't walk down them.thats something that a buddy was thinking of doing. take the cows to the 3rd floor. wonder if they'd have to lift them out, or just start a slaughter house right there in the hallway. A few times the cows got out and were walking in the parking lot and around the building, that happened probably twice a year. too bad that most of the construction bought up the farmers land.

We've got a sheep farm right beside my school so a bunch of us were thinking of stealing some and releasing them in the main hall, along with other select animals we'd buy or find somewhere.

our school also has a shovel that was used for the ground breaking ceremony, some ppl and i are thinking of stealing it and sending the school pictures of it beside canadian landmarks when we go on a road trip (so take one beside the big nickel, parliament buildings, CN tower, etc) and then eventually return the shovel (like at the end of next year or something)

Or let a rooster go in the hallway. Somebody did that my freshman year and the thing took a shit which didn't get cleaned up until after the school year was over (stayed there for 5 days).

Oh, I almost forgot... at my mom's former district, the kids put tires around the flag pole... all they way up to the top. I heard it was a real beeotch to get the tires back off since some were steel belted radials, and they were trying to cut through them.

right now our only 2 choices are the goldfish in the toilet ones and the school in the newspaper one....can't do the cow one cos the farm is right next to the highway and we're not doing the bug thing but maybe next year with a bigger car

Damien

underestimating law enforcement is alwas a must because most of the time, they won't know. when we had former seniors graffiti our school, at least 100 kids knew who it was, offered a reward and yet they were never caught.

ha speaking of senior pranks the seniors at our high school did theirs today. SO LAME they put yarn everywhere, colored yarn. and for some reason they put loads of golfballs everywhere on campus. it was pretty lame, lacked originality and creativity but w/e our year will be better:smokin:

cover your tile floors with Crisco or vegetable oils, if you have any recessed sections of flooring like in your cafeteria then fill it with water and fish. Greased pigs always good, remove the valve cores from the administrations tires.

Damien
05-08-2006, 09:21 PM
Yes, deflate tires!

oh, here's something that after wokring at home depot i figured someone could do. Buy quick setting concrete and make small...w/e those yellow things are that are in front of the parking spots preventing people to pull through. Make those! Use some 2x4's to lay out the area. Go ask for scrap wood or kickers. Man that's good. I might have to do something like that at my old school. :evillol:

A few I and friends pulled at my school. Keep in mind this was a smaller school, so everybody knew everybody, and calling the cops never was really considered.

A) Moved a mini cooper up a flight of steps and left it 'parked' at the top platform in front of the main office

B) Stole hundreds of rolls of TP from the dorms, TP'd both buildings outside, the parking lot, tennis court, then climbed in through a 3rd story window and did the entire 3rd floor and gymnasium. Then put goldfish in every toilet, sink, water fountain, vase, we could find. (This one was actually orchestrated by 99% all girls, I was the only guy)

C) Stole principals golfball collection and each graduate handed one back when shaking hands ( I wasn't involved in this one)

D) Our lockers came assembled in groups of like 20. We switched around all the groups, and then moved any signs or decorations to where they 'ought' to be, so all the 10th graders couldn't get their combinations to work, because they were trying on a completely different locker.

E) Moved an entire classroom up onto the 4th floor roof, chairs desks, computers, everything ( i wasn't involved here either)

F) An entire dorm snuck out at 2am, walked 8 miles to school and slept on the tennis court. Originally, they were going to swap entire dorms with a girls dorm, but hte girls chickened out, so the guys just crashed at the school. ( again, not me)

G) Swapped the tapes that played background music for morning announcments with Metallica

H) Made hundreds of water ballons, and camped out on teh school roofs at 5am. Bombed the faculty and students. This one got out of hand when somebody retailated with a fire hose.

I) Switched the principle and vice principles offices, completely. Mapped out how everything was, moved it out, and switched. So their rooms looked completely normal, but one room to the left or right.

G) Hooked up a Sony Playstation to the big screen projector in the auditorium the previous night. When they turned it on in the morning for assembly. Seated nearby, we started playing Twisted Metal 2 with wireless controllers in front of 400 people.

That's all I can really remember off the top of my head. Good times!

Everyone seemed perplexed for a minute, especially the principle at the front of the room, and the AV guy. I think they both thought it was a TV show or something for a minute. The whole soccer team had been to my house before, so they all instantly knew what it was and started cracking up and looking around for me. We played for just a minute or 2 before the AV guy found the PS and switched the input. But I did manage to kill Axel with Minion before he cut it off! Half the people laughed, and I honestly think half the people didn't get it.

I cant exactly picture this one... someone help me. My school's lockers were bolted into the wall

We had different lockers on every floor, pretty much 1 floor per grade. Our sophmore lockers were about 5ft tall, and built side to side, and were bolted together in groups of 15 or so, but not bolted to the wall or the floor or anything. So we literally moved one set out from the wall, slide all the rest of the bunches of lockers down to the left, and drug the first one all the way to the other end of the hall. Then moved all necessary decorations, etc. By that time in the year, nobody looked at their locker #s anymore, they just knew which one it was, and went straight to the combo lock. So it took them awhile to figure out why nobodys' combo was working.
