is this easy to do on a 2000 lincoln ls? Can you fill the coolant and the wiper fluid without taking it off? Im about to buy a 2000 lincoln ls V8 and I want to know beforehand. Thanks.

Also,
If you have any tips on what to look on the test drive, feel free.
The car is a 2000 with 81k miles. Super clean. $9,000. Deal or nah?

No need to take the cover off for those things you mentioned. As for checking the car out...
Look for oil leaks around the valve cover gaskets. (A common problem that leads to bad coils.)
Make sure the windows roll up and down smoothly.
Check for moisture in headlights.
Make sure headliner is snug against the roof, back by the rear window.
Double-check to see that the rear view mirror is functioning properly.
Drive it out and make sure it's shifting smoothly and at the proper time.
Hit a few bumps along the way and listen for any "clunking" in the front end suspension.
(That pretty much covers typical issues with the 2000 model.)
(You might consider posting over at www.llsoc.com, to see if anyone there has anything to add.)
