Oil Sensor

Quick question--I think my oil sensor is out(low oil dashlight comes on when the car is first started, but goes off after you shut off and restart the car). I've located it(haha), but haven't fiddled with it yet. Is it possible that I take the sensor out and clean it, or must it be replaced with a new? If so, what the flying flip is the sensor called to order one? Thanks!

Once they start doing that its just a matter of time before its stays on all the time.
