engine dies at startup

anybody know how to fix the engine die'ing when your attempting to start the engine cold. Ive heard that its the carb causing it, but i cant find any carb rebuild kits or replacemants..

on my crx dx all i did was replace the fuel filter, check over the lines and play with the idle... it wasnt really getting any gas. after i did that it runs strong as ever. also there is a little box on the side of the air filter compartment, it has a hose that runs into the top of the engine. check that filter too. not too many rexers know of that one... its 2 quick bolts and a quick clamp.
