Sorrie abt my last post... the pics are too big...
This is an edited version... sorry abt the inconvenience.. ;P
Started on my 1st project... hope everything goes well.. It's my 1st trial with putty and brush painting... Hope that everything is going as planned.
It's a Celica GT4.. It is going to be black with 18' Zeit R wheels.
So far, I have finished the interior and first few coats of primer.
It's my humble piece of work...
The pics show fillin up of holes, and the interior...
Pls feel free to comment!! Thanks. ;)

The pic shows the body unpainted, unprimed. It's moded in black.
Basically in the 1st pic, what I did was filling up the gaps between the different parts.
In the 2nd pic, what I did was filling up the hole for the left steering pump. This kit came with the option for left or right hand drive. I opt for the right hand drive, so I have to patch up the hole on the left.
The rest of the pic are pic of the 90% completed interior. I intend to add carpet for the car... perhaps velvet cloth will be good... :p
That's all for now... mabbe I will post some pics on the primed body later.. ;)
Thanks for the comments..

Here's some pics of the completed engine and some parts of the suspension.
Pics of the completed Engine.

Pics of the suspension components. Note that the brake disc has to be shaved, as fitting of the wheel is not possible without mod. Coils n calipers are painted red to give a "tuned" look... :P
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/497000DSCF0594_2.JPG
The inner part of the wheel has to be cut. Wheels will not be rotatable when completed. ;(

Great looking car, love the wheels
Personally I think they make it sit a little too high, but then again there's no wheel gap
Nice looking shine you'ev gotten on the paint finish :)

Umm... i did played with the though of lowering the car... but as you can see, there is barely any space between the wheels n arc...
I m not a fan of car slamming... guess it's abit too tedious.. :p

Man that is a sweet job! I really like the 2 tone seats. And the engine seems really detailed. Who makes that kit? (and if you said already then I'm an idiot and don't see it :flash:
Just one question. When you say it's your first time painting with a brush, uh, what have you been using? Bombs or airbrush?
Again sweet job!

Thks for the comments. I always like 2 tone seats. Tamiya made that kit and it's a great kit, but not a easy one though.
Well, it's my first serious project after so many yrs of modelling. I brush painted most of the parts. Normally only the body is spray painted.

Hi guys..
It has been a slow kit for me... I m too busy with my thesis... it's killing me... Here's some pics.. the GT4 should be done over the weekend.. hopefully.. :p
Which type of bum should I go for? The normal ones (left) or the darkened (right)??
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/938464DSCF0734_2.JPG
Pic of the 80% completed GT4... the intercooler n the bonnet has been removed... n tail lights are still undecided.

Again... hopefully my professor lets me off for the weekend... :(

looks real nice. i say go for the ones on the right, im not too fond of the "tinted" look as that was way over done here in my area for a while and i'd be happy not to see it ever again. but if it suits your tastes go for it. cant wait to see it finished.

Go for the ones on the left...the others look like dirty diesel stains !!!..lol.
