CRX vs Rustang

ok so im sitting at this stoplight at about 12:30 at night no one around just looking for a race when a see a mustang pull up next to me so i am just sitting there and he revs on me a couple times and im thinkin to my self *lol he has no chance in hell* so i rev back. and then about 3 secs later the light turns green and we are off i get the jump on hjim cause he starts smoking the tires and i get about a 4-5 car lead on him and then i look in the rear view mirror and i see him coming up so i shift into 3rd and dont shift outa that till about 8000 rpms and then he is about 1-2 cars behind me when i hit fourth and i decide to shut her down at about 135 mph. and then we hit this next stop light and he rolls down his window and says what the hell you running and i just smile and do a u turn and head back the other way. i felt so proud of myself. i now how mad props for guys in rustangs. even though there cars suckl they can still be cool about loosing to imports.

You know, thats a good question. What are you running? cause theres noway an 89 CRX with the mods listed in your signature could walk all over a mustang that much. So either you're not listing everything, this is BS, or the guy couldn't drive.

I would say this is a thread to ignore. Because, due to the slight scuffle in the "beat a couple of domestic" post, some one is just trying to stir things up. What year mustang? a 83 Mustang with 4 banger? Yeah ok, maybe...

But if it was a 94 5.0 Gt, you'd have a bit more trouble.

anything can happen on the street. CRX's are so stiniking light, and a ZC powered CRX would be pretty quick.....so a guy in a pretty stock mustang gt.....who couldn't drive worth a crap...if he smoked the heck out of the tires when he was trying to race, then he can't drive.....so it could happen....but i don't see a CRX getting to 135.....unless he has a JDM tach....135km

Just to prove anything can happen on the street i beat a 94-95 cobra and a TT dodge stealth in my '92 5spd SHO. I mean SHO's haul ass, but i should have lost to both of those cars. If you cant drive, then it doesn't matter how much power you make
