I just read the article your looking for the other day, but I don't rember where. There is a company on ebay selling prothane mounts for 2G's for about $68 shipped. PM me if you want their name. ;)

The stuff they use is windshield urethane, it's the glue that they use to hold your windshield on, pretty strong stuff.

That's just 3M's version of it, there are many manufacturers that make window urethane.

I know, I just wanted to make sure that you got the right stuff

And I would NEVER do it with metal pieces, that is not very smart, the mount won't sit right and will just wear out again anyways.

Yup thats why im doing this freebie!!! Well almost free lol My motor is out and 100% done!!!!!!!! finally, i finished it tonight, except the turbo hook up, waiting on a gasket. But everything else is hooked up, coil pack rewired ;) Thanx to Kevin.

I have all the mounts about done, been working on them all day. Since you have to wait about 3 hours between thin coats, it takes a long time. But i will post pics of them when done and also updates on my engine complete.

Last and finally is to redo my entire engine bay. Oh i have pics i need to post of my FMIC mounting i need to know if it will be ok the way i did it.

Thanx Eric

To lazy right this sec to upload pics to my laptop lol, im drinking now ;)
