The thing clearly says Trans Am but that's a formula bumper. I'm considering buying an LT1 WS6 soon and I'm wondering how to spot fakes.

It's not necessarily a fake, it's just that people who don't realize that there is a difference will list their birds as trans ams when there actually formulas or sometimes list the car as being both :screwy: but as you probably know the trans ams have the fog lights and different bumbers and side skirts so it's not too tough to tell the two apart..

I can't stand how glitchy AF is being, anyway, 87, is there indeed a WS6 formula because he has pictures showing the bumper with the WS6 template

im 99% sure this is not a firehawk

all firehawks had badges on the front, sides and back
why would someone debadge a firehawk? maybe it was repainted...if so..why?
96 was and etreamly rare year for firehawks..less then 50 made.

its either a ws6 optioned formula or a regular formula with a ws6 badge and after market hood.

because of production numbers...the 96 hawks will hold thier value well...say mid to high teens in great shape. The ultra rare LT4 hawks will be in the 20's
