Ok had a problem awhile back.....alt was over charging the battery and acid was leaking out the posts. Renewed the alt and battery. Charging system is working great better than ever. But why are all the damn gauges still on for the dashboard?!?!?!?! Battery light, Water, Oil, every light you can think of its on. Is there a reason for this or am I just losing my mind. Someone told me that when i blew that alt that i could have fried the ignition switch or some type of component. Please Help.

After you got everything hooked back up, how long before all the guages started lighting up? Did you try unhooking the battery for about 5 mins after that to reset everything and see if they came back?

It sounds like a BCM problem we get with cars here at the shop, what year eclipse do you have?

Its a 1995 GSX....but if it could be the BCM wouldn't it still throw a code or the check engine light? Also I had the battery disconnected for at least half a day. The battery light is on, but its very very dim. I am gonna check the belt to make sure its tight because i heard that if the belt isn't tight it would still throw the light on. But my main concern is the coolant light...both of them are on, no leaks, holding pressure, and its full.....this car is either going to be the death of me or its gonna take me broke. thanks for the help.

Don't quote me on this, but I think I remember somebody describing your problems and it ended up being the thermometer in the radiator that died and made everything go crazy with guages and whatnot. Something you can check anyway.
