fluid capacities help??/

I have the 4.8 5 spd manual with manual transfercase. I cannot locate the capacities of the tranny or the transfer case. Advance auto guy was no help and clueless about finding it. Anybody change there fluids latley tell me how much it takes ? thx jb

If you have Haynes repair manual it lists capacities and recommended fluids. If not manual transfer case is 2.25 qts. As for the tranny it all depends on the tranny model #. There are three listed. One is new venture 3500 2.4 qts. Two new venture 4500 4 qts. Three ZF S6-650 6.3 qts. Hope this helps.

yep thats where i found it thanks..the tranny actually was ful at 2 qts and i lety it drain an hour..so who knows...jj
