My Passenger Speaker STILL doesn't work?!

A while ago, my front-left passengar speaker was cutting out, volume dimming down, then finally it was gone. I figured I blew it since I listen at max volume all the time.

I changed the speaker,but it was not blown, swapped in for a new speaker, some pioneers, and it still didn't work...

Just now got done putting in a new cd/mp3 player to replace the stock, figured a wire was messed up or something.

Have you tried testing the actual speaker wireing that runs to that speaker to see if its not shorting out or broken somewhere along the run of the wire?

It sounds as though it may have been a wire that was slowing breaking apart and then finally just broke altogether?

Also try checking to see if the actual jack/harness part of the driver side door speaker wireing is in tact for the actual jack maybe it got rusty inside and is not allowing the signal to flow?

Just a few possible guesses.
