Used Contour Sport

Greetings,
My friend's dad is looking into buying a Ford Contour Sport for his son. The car has been under a single owner and is being sold for $4,200 dollars. The dad asked me to research the car for him and let him know whether or not it was a good vehicle.
I've done some research which showed me that this car has had a few minor recalls in the past. Seeing how its been owned by one person, I would like to think all of them have been taken care of. His son is a rising sophmore in college and would mainly be using the car to transport himsel from Orlando to Jacksonville, FL. Good highway gas mileage even with a V6?
Any thoughts or questions he should present to the buyer would be greatly appreciated in addition to any of your thoughts on the car (ie. something to look out for).

what year, and mileage, 4200 seems kinda steep.

word. When it comes to knowledgebase, this site pretty much stinks. Only a couple of us, including myself come over here from contour.org. And thats only to direct people to contour.org most of the time. :wink:
