Damn straight.
My ears were ringing after being right behind my car on that dyno pull...

Also getting my helmet. Just a basic RCI white helmet. I don't care what I look like.

Luos works in mysterious ways.

Talk to anyone who does custom exhaust for a snowmobile. Yup, a snowmobile. Bombardiar was fooling around with tuned pipes in the mid 80's, I've seen a few cars done that way. It will quiet them down low to mid range, but when you open it up all the way its gonna roar. The only way to get rid of the roar is to restrict flow, but if you tune the exhaust you can change the tone of it. Also ask a custom motorcycle mechanic, they may have a better idea since they deal more with 4 stroke motors.

I'll tell you. I use to friggin hate how loud my car was on the highway but I just decided to get a better audio system.

I don't think you guys understand just how loud this car is right now.

I'm telling you, tune the tail pipes. Have an extra set made up, you will loose a little bit of flow, but it really won't be noticable. Either that or add a resonator or two, that should tone things down a bit.

They are said to be tuned already. At least that is what the shop owner said.

Shine a flashlight down them and look. If they are straight, they are not tuned. When I did mine I used different sizes of pipe, ended up with 3 1/2 on each side exiting the car, but varied between 3 and 4 inch pipe, put a sleeve over it so it wouldn't look stupid, and got lucky with how it sounded. Has a nice resonance around 2k rpm, and at wot it will still roar, its loud, but the tone is different and easier on the ears.

If this doesn't work....too bad.

My car is still hella loud with the Magnaflow muffler. It isn't as loud at or around idle as it was with the flowmaster, but it is annoying loud to me still.

Don't think it is going to resolve your dilemma. I believe there is some form of item that some exhausts allow you to install, which brings down noise level (Too lazy to look up name). It's like a restricter pipe.

Compared to these bullet mufflers that are on there....these should tone it down a little.
That is all I am looking for.

They are center in center out. 3" in/out.
Not sure how long. I will let you know Monday or Tuesday.
