What brand of shocks?

I figure while I'm replacing the leaf springs, it'd be only common sense to replace the shocks too. I'll be putting on extended shackles to get about an inch of lift with the new leaf springs. I'm staying away from air-shocks, because I'll just remove or adjust the shackles for change in lift. So what brand of shocks have you guys been happy with, and what is the advantage of certain brands over other ones? Thanks.
