Intake system

Is there anyone out there that has changed their intake system? I would like to put in a new intake system for my 89 325i 2DR bmw. Do anyone have any suggestions of which one to buy? Thanks D

This a tough one. What you want is a cold air induction system (bringing in cold air from outside the engine compartment) and you really have that aws the car is designed. You could put a low restriction filter in to replace the current filter or using plastic pipe (metal atracts heat) pipe to just behind the grill and add a cone filter. However, except for the cone filter you essenmtially have that system now.
