Finally, and not that I meant to, but these things do happen.
I was out testing my decrepit vacuum system which is leaking from everywhere. The overboost cut seemed to be fixed but had since returned. I've bought a vacuum manifold a bunch of silicone line and I'm going to replace the entire vacuum system. Anyhow, this just gave me an excuse to drive the car.
Enough with the background, and on with the story. I was about a mile away from my house when I came across a yellow CRX. It had a muffler, bigger wheels, low profile tires, an intake, and half decent body kit. I was coming up on his tail and went out to go around him. I had the windows down and I heard him start to accelerate. He didn't go WOT; it seemed he just didn't want to be passed. I was in fifth going about 50 MPH so I dropped it into third and gave it a little juice to see if he would bite. I guess I didn't give it too much because he did. I let him get the jump as I stayed in third and then went WOT. As I shifted to fourth he was at my rear bumper and when I shut down at 75 MPH I would guess he was about five or six cars back. It was about what I was expecting.
The funniest thing about the entire event was the sound of the vacuum system holding on for dear life. You know how a turbo makes a nice even sound of rushing air at WOT? Not mine, it sounds strange since you can hear the boost leaking from the lines. Sounds pretty funny if you ask me.
Anywho, I'm happy since I beat him that badly with a leaky vacuum system, an exhaust you could clog with a carrot, and that damn overboost cut!!! Hopefully I will have all three taken care of this month; I have the parts, now I just need to find the time.

Nice kill despite the leaking lines. Things will be better when the new lines are on. You doing a 3 bar MAP and engine controller to take care of the over boost problem?

I see you still continue to have problems with the GTC...:evillol:
It never seems to end does it? Just kidding Poly. Good luck with solving your problems. I kinda miss Utah right now. I can't wait to make my next trip out there to see all my old pals.

Nah, that is the way that most Turbo Mopar guys go but I want to go with a more custom setup with a stand alone rather than a reflash. Who knows, I could change my mind. I just want will work best and I think a stand alone will do that for me.

LOL, yeah, the same old problems its had since I bought it but my lazy ass just hasn't fixed them. The dealer wanted $300 to fix the vacuum system.

Not to worry. I just need to install all the fittings in the vacuum manifold and then pick a weekend to replace all the lines.
