NOS is not short for nitrous oxide, NOS is a brand of nitrous oxide. :rolleyes:

The fast and the furious prolly got paid alot of money from NOS (The company) to say it basically every other word in the movie. When I first hear Paul Walkers character say it in the movie, I cringed, and I laughed whenever it was said in the movie. now the only people who actually say "NOS!!!" are ricers who don't know what they're talking about. (I'm not saying that you are a ricer, nor am I saying you don't know what you're talking about.) I love standing next to kids, (sadly, friends of mine) and every time a car goes by semi-fast, with a loud coffee can muffler, they all go, "Damn!!! that car was phat, I bet it had nos in it!!!"

You no I've been using the term " NOS " since the early 80's for the simple fact that (the company) NOS was the only large manufacture of a nitrous oxide system. However, I used that term because that's what the name of (the company) was. Now that there are a half-a-dozen company's out there with N2O systems I usally say nitrous.

you forgot the systems. NOS is short for nitrous oxide systems.
