gost graphics

how do I make ghost graphics (for my models and my real car)

I assume it's done by masking off the design first, then going over the existing paint job with some transparent colours. I don't exactly know, but that seems like a possible way of doing it. Personally, I'd love to make some ghost flames on some of my cars. :)

it sound to be a good way to do that
