New chart...
Red is cammed LS1.
Blue is today's pull.
http://home.comcast.net/~mrluos/Chart1.JPG
Remember...still have some tuning to be done.
Got to take her to 6700 RPM's. Not lean like I thought...it was actually a little rich up there. First time the motor has seen that RPM level...
The 512 RWHP is corrected for altitude/conditions. Actual numbers put to the ground....
424.2 RWHP
382.4 ft/pounds
That is 88.2 RWHP lost and 79.6 ft/pounds lost. :crying:
Pics of the car on the dyno...

And the video of the second pull. This one wasn't the best pull, but close.

Do what? I REALLY thought you'd be closer to my predicted numbers to the roller even after DA corrections. I know you DA is off the charts but Damn it man.
Where's AF at?
Where's timing at where?
What's Inj. DC look like?
What octane fuel?
WTF?
Are these numbers typical/indicative of other similarly modded 408's in that area?
I'm the first to understand the dyno is only a tuning tool, and that the subsequent #'s are only really good for baseline to after the fact comparisons to see what was good for what, but with the time energy and $$$ you've got in the swap.... I'd be fit to be tied up and shot.
Get her to the track and hopefully put to rest the dyno # says all theory and run a low ET.
*EDIT* little voice whispers in left ear...... NITROUS...... (sorry Luos.... had to do it :evillol:)

l said 470rwhp.. you got way more than that.. which means you will put down at least 550rwhp aftern tune... good for you man..

402's tend to make about 500-550 RWHP.
I don't remember what you predicted.
AF went rich up top. 12:1.
91 octane
I would have to look at the timing and injector DC off the laptop. And the gf is using that right now.
Do these numbers seem low or high to you?? I was actually surprised when I saw the 510 show up, I was expecting that after a full dyno tune.
Dyno numbers are nothing to me except for a tuning tool. The numbers are nice, but I won't be able to back them up at the track this season. Not worried...all in time.
I know how much this motor would love nitrous...but I just don't like it. Had a friend at the dyno today that ended up running his bottle dry. And he already had his motor dyno...he was looking for the 150 shot numbers and to watch his A/F.
She might be good up top tune wise...but she stills needs work in the lower RPM's for sure. Cam surge is a bitch.

It wasn't a fluke either.
Friends 100% stock Firehawk (has tune) made 313 RWHP.
Another WS.6 with a stalled auto and bolt-ons made 310 RWHP.
2002 Z06 made 346 RWHP.
Mine pulled 510 RWHP and 512 RWHP on two different pulls.
The first pull we took it to 5600 RPM's and it made 460 RWHP.

Dang that is sick. My gosh, that was a heckuva lot more power then I thought your car would put down.
Congratulations. You better be pulling atleast low 12's at your track, even w/ that altitude.
