Should I replace the Fuel Injector?

Just finished replacing the lower manifold gaskets (thanks for the threads, they were extremely helpful!) and I noticed that at the very end of one the injectors, I think it is called the poppet, that the plastic shield or flanges are missing at the tip so it just looks like a metal nipple exposed, unlike the other five. The engine was running fine prior to this job; however, not sure if this is critical for a spray pattern or is it for protection of the injector tip? Should I replace this injector? it will still insert into the manifold properly and click in place... Appreciate any advice
