4g64 difference?

Whats the difference between the 2g 2.4l 4g64 and the 3g 2.4l 4g64 besides minor power increase?

No idea, we don't know much about the 3g's because we own 1g and 2g's. There's a completely different section for the 2000+ 3gs.

Only the nt spyders came with a 4g64 so I doubt that any of us know a whole lot about it

eh i am about to buy a 99 nt spyder so i was just wondering, i'll try the 3g forums although i will prob get the same answer

The only difference that I can really think of is that the tranny is mounted on different sides of the engines. On the 2g spyder gs's the tranny is on the passenger side but on the 3g's the tranny is on the drivers side. This means that most bolt ons for the 3g won't fit the 2g.

Why do you need to know the difference? Is it a difference of getting a 99 n/t or a 2000+ convertible? IMO, I would get the 99 (2g) hands down, it's a WAY sexier car.
