yes you can clean with it but i still tend to clean with laquer thinner, or more precise, Alclad Airbrush cleaner as it seems to do a more thorough job.

Personnally I think that tamiya thinner is too expensive, so I only use it to thin my paint.

To clean my airbrush after I use Tamiya Acrylic, I use Isopropyl Alcohol or Createx airbrush cleaner which works fine.

:iagree:

Thin it with X20, but don't bother to use it for cleanup. Tamiya acrylic is easy to clean up (one of its many advantages), and there are several good options to use. My favorite is glass cleaner- Windex in the US (don't use cheap generic stuff- name brand stuff has a higher ammonia content and works much better). It instantly and easily dissolves any resiual paint in your airbrush.

I use Mr Muscle window cleaner (UK Brand), to clean up after using Acrylic in my airbrush. Tamiya thinner is too expensive, so I can only echo what MPWR has already said.

Also, window cleaner comes in those bottles where you can set a jet when you press the trigger. Perfect to shoot into the tip of your airbrush. Just wear goggles though, as I wasn’t wearing my glasses once, and got window cleaner in my eye. Stings just a tad. LOL.
