just got a 98 jetta gt (stick) mod suggestions

I just a 98 jetta gt and I want my jetta to look sporty but please leave out the jokes about the fast and the furious. I don't hate ricers I just don't want to read them. OK I have about $500 to spend but I also have a job so I willing to throw in about 100 a week.
