Transmission shudder/vibration

I have a 2005 Grand Caravan with 25000 miles on it. There is a vibration at all speeds. Also, when you gently start from a stop there is a soft shudder when it shifts from 1st to 2nd. When you come to a stop there is a soft bump when it down shifts to first. In additon when you come to a stop they is a vibration until I put the van in neutral them the vibration stops even when I put it back into drive. I have had it into the dealer and they say they can't find anything wrong. Is it me that is nuts or could I have a problem with this van? Help!!

I have a 96 GC with 190K miles on it and it doesn't shudder one iota. Never has. I don't think you're nuts. Did you take the mechanic for a drive or let him drive with you along? Hope nothing but ATF-4 fluid is in it. Anything else can cause irratic shifting.

I'm sure there's a transmission guru on the forum who can give you detailed info ie, what should happen, when and how as your tranny shifts. Would be great amo when you go back to the dealer.
