92 external keyhole light stays on--help

the keyhole light on the drivers stays on constantly and if the battery isnt disconnected it will drain! yet when the battery is disconnected and then reconnected we then run into computer problems.

eg trouble starting/running, radio playing, climate control cycling on its own etc!! it seems this way until the computer resets itself

does anyone know if its a wiring problem within the light circuit or the actual computer f-ing up???
