Cool topic. I run either an Ibanez GIO-style guitar or a Univox Hi-Flier bass through my Fender Princeton 112 amp.

7 years this April..i can do solos, but rhythm is alright.

Yeah, I use a cheap Digitech RP200 w/ expression petal... simpler is often better.

You heard wrong. The first one I got was about the 1000th built and it was a piece of shit, but my newer (Series 9000+) model never broke on me. Cheap son of a bitch, too... only $150.

I know im a little late but i have a G&L Guitar and bass that i ve had for maybe 5 years. Ive been playing bass for 7-8 years and guitar for about 5-6 years. I learned how to play drums about 3 years ago, i have a shitty CMC set. I got a cheap Yamaha keyboard cause i wanted to learn how to play piano. Ive been doing that for about a year and a half. I record my own music but i only let a couple people listen to it. I dont think im good enought to try and sign on with any body yet. I left all my equipment with my dad so i could go to college so i cant remember exactly what model amps i have. I know there both 800 watt Peaveys. One i just bought and the other is about 20 years old(i like that one better it has way better sound). And 2 2x15s a single 4x10 a 1x18 for the low end and some 15 inch monitor speakers made by Carvin. The 2x15s are old Miriad speakers and the 4x10 is Peavy. The 1x18 is a Yamaha club series cabinet that i use mostly for the bass low end and for DJing dances and clubs.

I also use DOD pedals. I have a Grunge pedal, icebox chorus pedal, stereo phaser, death metal distortion, and a Digitech XP100 Whammy Wah pedal. I bought a Tascam Portastudio about 2 years ago and its been working pretty good so far.

me too :sun: Been playing since 1987 (I think) :p Currently have 3 guitars and a couple others in bits. I used to do the whole rack effects thing, but (since that broke, and my amp got nicked) I've been playing just through a little Park practice amp. Nothing between guitar and amp, and I love it.

I gosta a fender jimmy vaughn signature series pearl white guitar with a crate GFX-15 amp, metal zone pedal, distortion pedal, blues driver, phazer, and a wha pedal(first three pedals are BOSS and the last 2 are danelectro) recently got 2 patch cables(right angle, 24k gold plated)b/c of a noise problem when I go direct into house speakers.

going to be getting a JB&L(Ibelieve its called) Humbucker stack pickup in the high pickup to get a lil more metal crunch, I currently have 3 single coil tex-mex "low-noise"(yeah right, anything but)pick ups.

I've been playing for almost 5 years now, sorry for all the posts. I keep forgetting things.

I had my Fender Strat stolen along with my ovation acoustic and both my amps, but for Christmas I was given a really nice Fernandez electric (mid-end). The sweet thing about it is that it has a 24 patch totally customizable digital effects processor. Oh, and a 60 watt Deluxe 112 plus Fender amp :) . Rock on!
