here is the deal...
i have a 1992 cx (the one that came with 8 valves and 60hp)... well the motor was going bad and i found a good deal on a motor from a 89 dx... the motor is now in the hatch... I'm currently using the cx ecu... it runs okay, a lil sluggish but it moves... i was just wondering if it is a good idea to get a diff ecu and if u think so which one should i get ?? not looking for anything fancy just trying to use all 16 valves(not sure if the # of valves matter on ecu)... i would also like to mention the 89 motor is an obd0 and my hatch is obd1 (i'm using obd1 harness with a obd0 motor, so in other words I'm asking which obd1 ecu should i get?) thx,Lo

Probably a P06 from the '92-'95 DX and LX would be your best bet.

the original ecu of the motor is p04 and its europian edition and it is small carbr.

He ment to write D15b2, not B15b2.

yes i know . i speak about the d15b2 , its my old engine. it have a small carb on it , and i think the ecu which design for carb can not work with the ecu which design for the injectors. i still have its ecu p04. you can buy it if you would like. its so cheap here because all here prefer the injection.

It must be a different engine here in the US then, because ours isn't carb'd. And our ECU for that engine is the PM5.

thx for all the replies. i haven't been on to read them because i work 14 hr shifts the 1st half of the week, but i think a p06 is what i need and yes the motor was dpfi (half injected and half carb'd) thx for the p04 offer but if u got a cheap p06 let me know.... thx,Lo
