Mismatching Motegi Wheels ahhhhahaa

So a few weeks ago i destroyed a rim and tire and ended up ordering a whole new set of wheels from motegi racing. I ordered the MR7's 18x7.5" in gunmetal color and when i opened the boxes today i saw that only one of hte wheels was gunmetal and the other 3 were hyper black!!

I called the guys up and told them what was wrong and they didnt have a clue how it happened because the codes on the boxes said that the wheels should have been all gun metal.

It ends up theyre sending me one more hyper black wheel (I like them better in person and they cost more HAHA LUCKY) for free and picking the gun metal one up.

Cool deal, I think those will look better than those white ones you have now. I dont know why but in my opinon the white doesnt really go with silver paint good. Hyper blacks should be nice! Be sure to post a pic!

What are you doing with your 3 old rims?

The other 3 i am going to try to sell either locally or on ebay... if anyone wants them i would sell them cheap and ship the wrecked one too if wanted for whatever reason. I wll have the boxes from the new ones so it will work out good... they are in decent shape with some marks but i like them.

how badly damaged is the other rim? do you have a pic or something. Is it usuable at all? Oh and tires or no tires?

The 3 are in pretty good shape all around i could clean them good and get all the brake dust off first... the one has a bend in the lip of the rim that can be bent back with a board and a hammer. There is a big crack in the inside of the wheel too which due to liability some places wont try to fix it but im sure you could find somewhere that would if you have a friend. Im using those tires on my new wheels and yes we could probably meet half way to eliminate shipping.

I'm going to the north shore for a long weekend over memorial day and we are spending a day or two in Duluth afterwards so probably about a month from today.
