I have a 94 Altima. I took it in to the shop to have my PCV Valve replaced & PCV sytem cleaned & an oil change. When I picked it up from the shop, I noticed that the air bag light is acting up. It comes on for about 10 seconds, goes off for about 10 seconds, than comes back on & it keep repeating the same process over & over again. I don't believe the shop messaged anything up, as much as it just happened to start acting up at the time I got it back. My question is, does anyone have any ideas what could cause the light to keep flashing on & off.

Your Air Bag System is in Self Diag. It's Fairly easy to take care of.
Open your Drivers Door. Key in Ignition, Turn the key to the On position , As soon as you do that you have 5 to 10 seconds to push the door pin switch in and out 7 times. After you have done it , Start the vech and Wait to see if you got it out of diag mode. It May Take you 2 ro 3 times to get it .. GL :)

Thanks for the reply. I just got done trying it out, and it appeared to take care of the problem. I'm not sure how it gets in a self diag mode & not get out of it on its own, however anytime I can take care of a problem myself & save the money I'm not going to complain, so thanks for the help.
