reverse lights?????

My car used to b AT and now it's Manual the only prob is they didn't connect the reverse lights. there r a bunch of wires next to my shifter that used 2 connect to the old AT shifter. Anybody have any idea which one is the right one to trigger the lights, I'm assuming the others r 4 the indicator lights on the dash.

right underneath the distributor and above your transmission are 2 wires that are supposed to run your back up lights. they are special plugs like male and female, so you cannot interchange em..see if they're connected...if they are not, retrace and see where they lead to...may lead to 2 of the 4 wires you have by your shifter. If they are...in the engine bay (driver side, by the shock tower) is a connector plug...pull it apart and make sure that all wires matches. meaning if you reconnect it, does each wire connect to the other..the back up light I think is the bottom red one by itself. im me if you need more info.
