Okay I wanted to just clear up some info on headers that I have seen various places.
#1- Shorties and Mid length headers are still emissions legal correct? I am asking because Washington is Very strict on emissions.
#2- Are mid length headers worth the money with a fully upgraded exhaust
#3- They don't scrape like longtubes once the car is lowered... correct
#4- Are the harder to install then any of the others or are the all about the same difficulty level?

Most shorty headers will go right in with the factory y-pipe, mids and longtubes need custom y-pipes. And any of the headers are emissions legal as long as you dont remove o2 sensors or cats or smog stuff. Longtubes will give the most flow though.

Pacesetter and Hooker and most of the others make long tube headers with emission hook ups for the egr and air pump.
