Luminecent Dash

I've got an 82 lincoln continenal. The luminecent dash board continually blinks off while I drive. If anyone has any info on what causes this or how to fix this or both please please please tell me I'm desperately searching on whats wrong with my car.

It's just a bad fuse or short... just take it to a guy who will do the electric stuff. All it takes is a new wire or fuse, and fuses are generally universal.

if ur car has autoheadlights, try and turn the auto part off. when the 'eye' that tells the car 2 turn lights on/off sits in the sun after years and years it tends to get brittle and then shorts out. if disingaging the autoheadlight feature works then great, if not or ur car doesnt have the autolights try checking all the grounds and connections. sometimes its just as easy as jiggling a wire :P
