:banghead: HEY,THANKS FOR CHECKIN THIS OUT!!MY 1990 CORVETTE HAS ABOUT 42PSI IN THE FUEL RAIL WHEN THE CAR IS ON , bUT WHEN I TURN IT OFF THE CAR AND TURN THE SWITCH BACK ON THER IS 0 PRESSURE!! BUT THE CAR WILL STILL START. ITS A NEW FUEL PUMP,FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR AND FUEL PRESSURE GUAGE ALSO FUEL FILTER.!!!!!PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS ALSO IT IS WASTING ALOT OF GAS..

Couple things come to mind. Where did you get the pump I had trouble with pumps from Advanced. I got stuck on the road with a brand new one . Also right above the pump is the little connector damper . Hooks the pump to the fuel line. if that goes you can lose pressure. Also i read that if your fuel pump relay sticks and you crank it over and get oil pressure up this will bypass the fuel relay and allow the car to run. might be why you see pressure to run but no pressure when you turn ign. off then on. Do you hear pump relay click when you just turn ignition to on but not to crank.
