GSX vs GS-T

I was just wondering how big of a difference there is between the GSX and the GS-T i know they are both turboed only the GSX is AWD and GS-T is FWD i am looking to buy a GSX but if i can't find one should i settle for a GS-T or just keep looking.

I like my GS-T, GSX's can launch faster other then that not too much of a difference.

The GST is an advantage in the higher speeds, but the GSX is alot faster on Take off. But still pretty much the same, welcome to AF.

AWD all the way! ..but FF cars can still be badass. I've seen some really hardcore front-wheel cars around.

what about as far as suspension are they the same and everything like that. i drive a FWD car now in my integra i've never driven an AWD car is there a really noticable dif b/c i have heard from some people to go with AWD but than some ppl say there isn't too much of a diff. also how much does a GSX and a GS-T in good condition go for say like a 95 or around there

Believe me man, once you launch an AWD you'll know why you are never going to get a FWD again ;). I would get a 90-92, they have the stronger 6 bolt engine, 90-91 look sweet as hell, cheap, and cheap to mod. A 12 second timeslip is not out of reach for someone with $3000 to buy and mod a car with if they shop around and get a 1g AWD. Mine costed <$1000 with a big 16g and EPROM ecu and in fairly good shape (minimal rust, like 4 door dings in the whol car, nice interior). EDMUND65 as had really good luck, he has owned 3 1g AWD's in the last couple months each for less than $500. Suspension is different between the FWD's and AWD's and obviously there will be a bit more squat on a AWD due to, well, the AWDness of the car, but they both should handle about the same (I think).

AWD > GST....Honestly, if you take into account the difference between the two at high speeds because that's about the only place the GST is better than the GSX (and it's still not even that much of a difference), you might as well just get the GST because who drives 100+ for more than a minute?

A good condition STOCK 95 GST/GSX would be around 5k, that's about a fair price. Anything below 4k would be a steal and anything above 6k would be a bit high, unless it's in absolutley immaculate condition.

Thanks i appreciate it i know i did hear a lot of good things about the 1g but i was still kinda looking for a 2g i still am gonna do some research but about how much could i expect to pay for a 2g GSX or GS-T

I got lucky and got mine for $4500 and it was only 2 miles from my house. AWD is the only way to go imo. If you want anything over 300hp then fwd just wont cut it.

Seriously though, if it is going to be a daily driver I would get a 2gb (97-99). Man they are sexy. You could get a 95-96 too and just do a 97-99 conversion. If it is going to be a purpose built track car I'd go 90-91 for sure.

2ga talons are the sexiest by far:wink: espically the white/black ones with a 2gb eclipse front and maybe rear but thats pushing it. Thats wingless to

i pissed a guy off the otherday when i went and looked at a 96 gs and the guy was asking $7,000.00.....and it was not in very good condition.I told him good luck selling it becuase he was never geting that for it.I guess im going to have to take a road trip to buy my car
