weird noise?

I just recently bought a 97 sierra Z71. It has the 5.7L. When I first go out in the morning there is a weird noise when i turn the wheel. After the truck has warmed up and been driven a few minutes it goes away. Its not a metal grinding noise so im not sure. Any help would be great thanks.

power steering pump---

Im not sure if its the power steering pump. Everthhing else steering wise is fine so im not sure.

well it will make noise when cold since the viscosity of the fluid is so thick when it tries pumping it it will be aeraated until it warms up thins it out a little and cycles it goes back to normal..
