2001 exhaust

I've searched many threads but i can't find a striaght answer.
I got a 2001 5.9L Ram, i'm goin with a cat back system, dual tips. My question is what compnay is goin to give me the best flow? I'm thinking about flowmaster or Magnaflow. I don't want straight pipes.

I'm tellin ya you shouldn't out the straight pipe idea just yet, i just had midas take off my muffler on my 2001 5.9l and give me a chrome tip and it sounds perfect. It growls it doesnt scream like you think it would. It sounds a lot better than any flowmaster does.

Thats how the truck is now, I don't like the sound, to loud in the cab too

You should have some kind of muffler for backpressure at least.

stock cat provides more than enough back pressure.

I know thats why i'm gettin rid of the straight pipe thats on there now, but i'm tryin to figure out what muffler company has the best flow to their mufflers, i'm goin with a cat-back system so w/e system has the best flow. Any input on this would be appreciated

Well since you're leaving the cat alone, I would say you might as well put on a glasspack or something. Any brand will do, they're all the same. The cat will rob so much flow that you'd be best off putting a straight-through muffler on. You'll have optimal flow and it won't be that loud either.
