I think Having a swaped 4 door is much better than a hatch because it WAY more fun to whoop people in a family car!

i cant quite say that. Most hatches i see in my area are either 6th gens (ugly as hell) or completly stock.

I love black 4th and 5th gen hatches.

my 4th gen hatch is black and the interior looks visious, its totally custom blue/black, i just got my liciese back in feb so i cant wait to do more work on my engine, thinking about a zc but only place i can find them is in canada from osaka

a sedan looks like a big box, with a smaller box extending out in front and to the rear of it.

4th gens are boxy ... dont matter if you got a hatch or sedan.

how the hell do you figure so? :screwy: the hatch and sedan both have 2 front seats....and both have the same back seat. the sedan might have a little more surface area but not even enough for an extra butt cheek. if anything the hatch can fit more...with that key little word hatch. if needed you can stick bodies back there....unlike the trunk on a sedan.

i don't even know what to say about you calling a hatch boxy. ROTFL. i guess i must have the only round hatch and square trunk sedan in the world :loser: :icon16:

i can fit like 6 people in the back of my hatch, i got one flat surface in the back with subs built into the walls under the windows.....soon to come tinted windows and lights.....and you know what ill be ready for! :naughty:

It has the same motor and MPFI just like the Si hatch and CRX.....it might weigh a little more but not enough to make that much of a difference in speed

I have owned them all "CRX" is it hands down it's the wildest ride you can get without a prescription! It's called POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO 1950lbs car plus 200+ hp equals very fast

just ditched the hatchie for a crx, and I'm hooked...

I'm pretty sure that a sedan only ways like 100lbs more than a hatch, so they would be pretty close....

I have a CRX and I love it, but i like all 4th gens... BTW where the F%$^ is the option for Wagons? Only Civic to come with a 6-speed and 4wd :naughty:

i would have to say that the hatch is the best car ever made, i will never get rid of my 88 dx, i will be getting the d16y8 sohc vtec engin for it with my tax returns, wooohoooo it will be fun with a ghetto rigged turbo kit on it.

i voted for the hatch cuz that's what i got...but my fav. Honda of all time is the REX.

lmfao this thread is still floating around. i vote again for the rex :P only because its the lighter of the 2. but for an everyday driver id rather rock a hatchie.

Man get over it. The Hatchies own. They are too sweet of a ride from every aspect. They got room, comfort, mad style, endless opportunities and may even look good with rusty wheels wells (depending on other things) lol. The Rexs are nice as hell also but feel like a clown car when you drive it and the family box (sedan) is too EW for this thread. I think a prelude woulda rocked this thread more then the box (sedan)

i say the rex owns all because it is lighter handles better and is probably the cheapest "sports car" (2 seater) you can buy..but hey im just sayin that cuz i own one thats all :biggrin:
