In-Progress - Porsche 968

Here is the Hasegawa 968. I painted this car Cobra Colors Porsche Cobalt Blue, over Cobra Colors Nissan Liquid Aluminum. The blue looked a bit translucent in the bottle, and I really wanted it to pop, and I think the silver basecoat did just that.

The interior/chassis of this kit is identical to the 944 I just finished. The engine was updated for this kit, and looks nice. I plan on adding some plug wires, and minor plumbing.

The headlights, front and rear lenses have been added, and all the window trim has been painted. The body is ready for glass, door handles, and side mirrors now.

Does the hood open? It looks amazingly tight-fitting if it does. I'm looking forward to the engine detail. This color is stunning, too.

Nice deep blue, very smooth. I did the same with a W R Subaru blue, applied over a base of silver. It does help the colour pop out, looking forward to see more of this one.
