Not sure what they are called but my 2000 durango is rusting in rear wheel well I am going to fix this but I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some flares or fenders or whatever they are called like the newer ones have. The metal around wheel well is real flimsy.I hope you can figure out what I mean.

A set of stock ones from a salvage yard? Or Bushwacker makes a whole line of flares for almost every truck/SUV made. They're a good way to cover the rust for a year or two, but it will eventually eat its way past the edge of the flares too.

They came stock on my 2000.... Bushwacker is an aftermarket company that makes add on fender flares. Check with them, or if you want stock, EBAY...

I thought they all had them until recently I saw a white durango with no flares (2WD?) The factory flares are in 2 styles. One style that is just a flare, and the other style is molded to match the running boards, like my 2001 Durango. I'd suggest locating these in your local salvage yard and comparing the Ebay price WITH SHIPPING.
