1998 Rodeo Calipers

I have a1998 Rodeo and the caliper slid pins are seized on. What is the size of the bolt, metric or standard. Also the socket I used cracked and spun on the bolt and rounded the head. I ahve tried to file 2 sides flat, to use a wrench. I have heated the bolt with a propane torch, and even used vise grips. Can some one tell me how to remove thsi olt. Also are ther any bushing where the slide bolts hold the caliper together. I was told that I would have to replace bushings because I heated the pins. If this true. I live in Oromocto NB Canada and I have a hard time getting parts for this seems like the dealer does not want anything to do wth this vehicle. Thanks for your Time Tom

The calipers are held to the fixed caliper brackets by two hold-down bolts that thread into the slide pins. I would use an air chisel or the likes to shear off the heads to these small hold-down bolts. You should replace the calipers and hardware after this.
