1998 Rodeo Fuel Pump

I have 1998 Rodeo when I turn the key the fuel pump does not come on(hum). If I turn the key off then turn on about 6 to 10 times with out engaging the starter the truck starts. Does this mean my fuelpump is going or is there somthing else I could check. Also has anyone replaced the fuel pump and bought the pum from www.autopartsway.ca They have a a pump for f$392.00. Canadian funds. Thanks Tom

yes It starts after awhile. but nut until I hear the noise from the fuel pump.

check your fuel pump relay which is located in engine fuse box. on ebay pump is selling for $135 here is link
