Shift knob with lights

I bought a shift knob that looks like a skull, it has red lights for eyes which are supposed to turn on when I shift.

There's two wire, both grey but one has a red plastic around.
So far I removed the stock shift knob and the center console.

but... Where the fuck do I plug the wires ?? There's nothing about it on the instructions.

EDIT: I asked a mechanic and he told me to plug it in the fusebox, on the ignition fuse.
I did that and the lights turn on when the car is running so that's what I wanted.
