Hi all.
I was having a really bad problem with high rev going to 1200rpm some days, then 1500rpm then I adjust the biss via "only" a screwdriver and lower the revs, but later was the rev's up anothergain till I end up to 2100rpm !! and wasting a lot of gas 2 tanks in a week, when I usually use 1 1/4 tanks.
I check the tps with a multitester and was ok, then try to ajust the tps, but in my manual there was no adjusting procedure, so I adjusted moving counterclockwise close to the end, and then the revs went down to 1000rpms! much better like day and night, all the threads I check don't say how they finally solve the problem.
1- I need your help how to adjust the tps sensor with a multitester
2- what brand of pocketlogger to do all the adjusting (digital tuning, inc? http://pocketlogger.com/index.php?pid=obdii)
3-Can I solve the check engine light with the pocketlogger?
my car is a 2g with a 1g motor( no cranck sensor)
Thanks for your time

1) High idle isn't ALWAYS sensor related but in your case it most likely is, is it a constant high idle or more like idle surge? Have you checked the ISC yet?
2) You can't make any adjustments with a pocketlogger, it does what it says, it takes logs of what your engine is doing. If you want control of what your car is doing then I would recommend DSMlink.
3) There is a "self-check" option on the car when you throw a CEL, it deals with turning the key on and off a few times and watching how many times the CEL blinks, I belive there's a how-to in your owners manual about that. For your random misfire code, read up on this. The article is at the bottom of the page labeled "Problems!"

It is constant high idle, I change the ISC and the high idle didn't change (I'm using the new good use one), I check also for air leaks found one and fix it and I still have a small one around the biss bolt. ( need O ring )
The tps was at the the center of the total adjust I had to go nearly all counterclockwise. if I put it all clockwise the revs will go up and down , up and down maybe is a lean condition? but nearly counterclockwise drop the revs to 1100-1200, I made a test by taking off the top part of the ISC and made the adjustment manualy by turning the isc shaft to the right side and the revs drop I believe the isc trys to center that shaft and goes on a rich mixture, maybe I'm going to get a new tps since my car is a 110,000 miles

I believe I read that "self-check" is for a 1g, doesn't work on a 2g
I already check that site before with no good luck, my alternatives is going with a 93-94 hall efect CAS or the dsm link will get disable that randon misfire.
And for the TPS adjusting anyone?
thanks gt
