head gasket 735

im putting another engine (as mine has been completely cooked) with 104,000 miles on it. is it a good idea while i have it out to replace the head gasket to try to prevent any future gasket failure? as it seems to me that these engines can start to run into problems with heads when the miles get up. any help much appreciated
