i figured that you guys would know a lot about vortec heads, since your engines use them in the newer trucks lol...
i recently discovered that G.M. is producing a "bow tie" vortec head that is quite different than your typical late nineties chevy truck vortec heads. the chamber size is upped to 65 cc's from the regular vortec with 64 cc's. also, the valve sizes are increased along with intake and exhaust runner volumes. I have seen very little data about these heads as they must be relatively new, but one website said that the newer vortec with the bow tie designation is a sweet cylinder head to use...
anyone know if the newer ones are better than the regular vortec heads? any opinions or anything greatly appreciated...
