Tranny/ EGR Valve Problems?!?!?!

Hi there. I have bought an 88 Accord LX with a new carb. and 116K Now, I am noticing a humming soung from the Carb. I just had it looked at , it was adjusted but still a humming sound. Also, the auto trans is making this humming while accelerating...I am told torque converter is off balance???? Any ideas or anyone had similar problems???

sounds like this could be complicated......post this in the lets get technical forum, there are some pretty smart fellows there that can probably help you.:)
