question about rims and tires

Hey guys i have a question about rims and tires. I hav a Ford escort zx2 And i dont know what is the biggest rims you can put on my car? And i dont what size of tires i need when i buy rims? So my question is can u guys tell me what is the biggest rims i could put on my zx2 and the tire size for rims?

the biggest rims you could put on would be 18x7.5's, however, I recommend 17x7's as the 18's will hurt your performance.

If you get 17's the correct tire size for your car is 205/40R17

I would add that the 205/40R17's have to be XL (Extra Load) and that 39 psi would be the appropriate inflation pressure.
